Job Description:

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and ensuring proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding the client’s financial needs. Support sales and service activities, including outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, facilitating courteous conversation, and conducting transactions, both complex and standardized, while uncovering needs. Perform complex transactions with assistance as necessary.
  2. Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions, including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking, to enhance their banking experience.
  3. Support the team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities, referring clients to appropriate team members or specialists.
  4. Understand the importance of IRM to seamlessly deliver Truist expertise and solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
  5. Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  6. Advance individual and product knowledge by attending sales, service, and product training sessions, including web-based learning.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of policy changes to ensure compliance.
  8. Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering relevant products and services, and handling work proportionate to branch demands.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with PC keyboard and branch automation software
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel for staffing needs, including temporary assignments or locale changes
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours, with possible travel and overnight stays

Preferred:

  • One year of client relationship or sales experience
  • Knowledge of complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients
  • Understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
