Job Description

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service by understanding and addressing clients' financial needs. Support sales and service activities, including outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversation and conducting transactions, uncovering needs, and performing complex transactions with assistance as necessary.
  2. Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking.
  3. Support team sales through outbound calls, checking client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities for referral.
  4. Understand and support the delivery of Truist’s IRM solutions for clients’ needs.
  5. Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  6. Advance individual and product knowledge through training and meetings.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
  8. Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, handling a proportionate volume of work based on branch demands.
Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in PC and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel and work weekends or extended hours as needed
Preferred:
  • One year of client relationship or sales experience
  • Knowledge of complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience sourcing new clients and relationship building
  • Understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
