Job Description:

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding the client’s financial needs. Support sales and service activities, including outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a distinctive client experience with courteous conversation, conducting transactions, and uncovering needs, including complex transactions with assistance.
  2. Educate clients on digital and self-service banking solutions such as ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking.
  3. Support sales by participating in client outreach, checking for offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities, referring clients to appropriate team members.
  4. Understand and support the implementation of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver tailored solutions.
  5. Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  6. Enhance knowledge of products and services through training and meetings to better serve clients.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk policies, staying informed of updates.
  8. Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and problem resolution, offering relevant products and services based on branch demand.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with PC and branch software
  • Ability to multi-task and work under time constraints
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours, including weekends

Preferred:

  • One year of client relationship or sales experience
  • Knowledge of complex transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience in sourcing and prospecting new clients
  • Understanding of bank operations and policies
