First Bank Richmond is seeking Universal Bankers for our Frankfort Financial Center to deliver comprehensive banking services to both consumer and commercial clients. The role blends teller transactions with relationship-based sales and service to drive a seamless customer experience across channels.

You will engage customers in meaningful financial conversations, identify needs, and recommend appropriate bank products while ensuring accurate transaction processing and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior banking, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with consumer and small business clients is a plus.

We have two openings at our Frankfort Financial Center. Both roles are Universal Banker positions, one is a Float.

Universal Banker is a key frontline role responsible for providing comprehensive banking services to both consumer and commercial customers. This position combines teller transactions with relationship-based sales and service, delivering seamless customer experience across all service channels.

The Universal Banker engages customers in meaningful financial conversations, identifies needs, and recommends appropriate bank products and solutions to support financial success. This role also ensures accurate transaction processing while maintaining compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Deliver exceptional service to both consumer and commercial clients in person and via phone.
• Build and deepen customer relationships by understanding financial needs and goals.
• Conduct needs-based conversations and provide tailored banking solutions.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and escalat[e] complex concerns as appropriate.

Transactional & Operational Support

• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions accurately.
• Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Support both routine and complex transactions for consumer and business clients.

Teamwork & Branch Support

• Collaborate with team members to achieve financial center goals.
• Support branch operations including opening/closing duties and dual control procedures (e.g., night drop).
• Contribute to a positive, customer-focused team environment.

Qualifications Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior banking, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Experience working with both consumer and small business clients is a plus
