Please review the following job description:

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service, identifying and understanding the client’s financial needs. Cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a focus on outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure consistent service by engaging clients with courteous conversation, conducting transactions, and uncovering needs. Perform complex transactions with assistance as needed.
  2. Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions including ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking to enhance their banking experience.
  3. Support team sales by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities, referring clients to appropriate team members or specialists.
  4. Understand the importance of IRM to deliver tailored solutions for clients’ needs.
  5. Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  6. Advance personal and product knowledge through training and meetings to better serve clients.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of policy updates.
  8. Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering products and services to clients and prospects, managing workload based on branch demands.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications like Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs or locale changes
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours, with occasional travel and overnights

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Knowledge of advanced branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients
  • Understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
