Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Universal Banker who serves as a full-service, single point of contact in the branch for customers’ financial needs. The role combines Teller and FSR duties to deliver friendly, accurate service and help grow customer relationships.

You will open deposits, process transactions, discuss products, enroll customers in self-service options, and ensure compliance with banking regulations. On-site role with training provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of teller or cash handling experience.
• Six months of customer relationship building or sales experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions for savings, checking, and loan accounts.
• Identify customer needs and expand relationships through referrals.
• Maintain neat and orderly workspace and follow security procedures.
• Open new deposit accounts and handle related services (wire transfers, stop payments, etc.).
• Provide excellent customer service in person and via self-service options.
• Support teller/FSR duties and assist in training new tellers.
