Job Description

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service, understanding the client’s financial needs. Cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a focus on outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation, conducting transactions, and uncovering needs, including more complex transactions with assistance.
  2. Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions such as ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking.
  3. Support sales processes through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities.
  4. Understand and support the importance of IRM to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  5. Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  6. Advance individual and product knowledge through training and learning opportunities.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of policy changes.
  8. Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, handling a proportionate volume of work based on branch demands.
Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with PC and branch automation software
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours as needed
Preferred:
  • One year of client relationship or sales experience
  • Knowledge of complex transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients
  • Understanding of bank operations and policies
