Job description

Please review the following job description:

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service, understanding the client’s financial needs. Support sales and service activities, including outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

  1. Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation, conducting transactions, and uncovering needs. Perform complex transactions with assistance as necessary.
  2. Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions like ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking.
  3. Support sales by participating in client outreach, checking for offers, and identifying needs for referral to branch team members or specialists.
  4. Understand and support the importance of IRM to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  5. Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  6. Enhance individual and product knowledge through training and meetings.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
  8. Serve as secondary contact for account openings and problem resolution, offering relevant products and services.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in PC and software skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under time constraints
  • Basic computer application skills
  • Ability to travel and work weekends or extended hours as needed

Preferred:

  • One year of client relationship or sales experience
  • Knowledge of complex transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients
  • Understanding of bank operations and policies
