Please review the following job description:

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding the client’s financial needs. Cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a focus on outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure consistent service by engaging clients with smiling, facilitating courteous conversation, conducting transactions, and uncovering needs. Perform complex transactions with assistance as necessary.
  2. Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking to enhance their service experience.
  3. Support team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities, referring clients to the appropriate team members or specialists.
  4. Understand the importance of IRM to seamlessly deliver Truist expertise and solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
  5. Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  6. Advance individual and product knowledge by attending sales, service, and product training sessions, including web-based learning.
  7. Adhere to internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with current guidelines and stay informed of changes.
  8. Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and resolving issues, offering applicable products and services, handling work proportionate to branch demands.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller, cash handling, or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications like Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel for staffing needs, including temporary or locale changes
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours, with occasional travel and overnights

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Knowledge of complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients
  • Understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
