Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service by identifying and understanding clients' financial needs. Cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a focus on outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure consistent service by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, conducting transactions, and uncovering needs. Perform complex transactions with assistance as necessary.
- Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions such as ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking to enhance their experience.
- Support sales by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities, referring clients as appropriate.
- Understand and support the importance of IRM to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
- Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
- Enhance personal and product knowledge through training and meetings to better serve clients.
- Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk policies, staying informed of policy updates.
- Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, handling a proportionate volume based on branch demands.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of teller or cash handling/client service experience
- Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with PC keyboard and branch automation software
- Ability to multi-task under time constraints
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel for staffing needs and work weekends or extended hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of client relationship or sales experience
- Knowledge of complex transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
- Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients
- Understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
