Job Summary

Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to ensure an excellent customer experience for all customers and employees. Acknowledge customers' needs with suggestions and referrals of appropriate Bank products and services. Perform all tasks accurately and efficiently while remaining in compliance with the established Bank policies and procedures. Candidates should be outgoing, sales-oriented, flexible, adaptable, and results-driven. Ability to work independently and with a team, make sound decisions, and use critical thinking skills is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process all teller line transactions proficiently, including deposits, loan payments, check cashing, issuing official checks, and providing overrides and approvals.
• Count and balance the cash drawer daily, proactively resolving discrepancies.
• Follow BSA/AML/OFAC policies to report suspicious activity.
• Maintain integrity and confidentiality of all Bank business and information.
• Engage regularly with customers to understand needs and recommend suitable products and services.
• Assist customers with routine questions and account maintenance.
• Progress towards proficiency in vault transactions, opening and closing banking center, end-of-day processing, security system knowledge, and report completion.
• Experience and sound decision-making can lead to higher limits and authority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months of customer service and cash handling experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Smartphone (iOS or Android) supporting security features per IT guidelines.
