Job Description

Float Universal Bankers will be required to travel to multiple branches as assigned by the Area Leader and/or Branch Leader. They will provide timely and efficient client transaction processing, maintain accurate records, and handle all monies properly. They will deliver high-quality service, identify client needs, and support sales and service activities as needed.

  1. Client Experience: Engage clients with a friendly attitude, conduct transactions, and uncover needs. Support complex transactions with assistance as necessary.
  2. Digital Education: Educate clients on digital and self-service banking solutions, including ATMs, Online, and Mobile Banking.
  3. Client Support: Make servicing calls, present offers, identify needs, and refer clients to appropriate team members or specialists.
  4. Team Participation: Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  5. Knowledge Development: Complete training and web-based learning to improve service quality.
  6. Compliance: Follow internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies. Stay informed of policy changes.
  7. Account Maintenance: Serve as a point of contact for account issues, problem resolution, and referrals.
  8. Scheduling: Support multiple branches within the coverage area, with schedules provided in advance and subject to change.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven proficiency in teller or cash handling and client service
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to use office equipment and perform basic math
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under guidelines
  • Ability to deliver excellent client service and support team
  • Availability for Saturdays and extended hours

Preferred:

  • Ability to identify referral opportunities
  • Knowledge of complex branch transactions
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints
  • Understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
