Job summary

Northrim Bank is seeking a Universal Banker for a part-time float pool in Anchorage, AK. You will handle transactions, open accounts, answer questions, and guide customers toward financial solutions, while delivering exceptional service.

The role spans Universal Banker I–III, with responsibilities that include problem-solving, relationship-building, and product recommendations. Training and advancement are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Six+ months cash-handling, retail, or hospitality for Universal Banker I.
• One+ year in banking or two+ years in customer service/cash-handling for Universal Banker II.
• Degree in a related field can replace experience.
• Three+ years of banking experience for Universal Banker III; leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of the bank: greet customers, handle transactions, and improve their day.
• Assist with deposits, withdrawals, account management, and loan payments.
• Build relationships and help customers plan, save, and succeed financially.
• Suggest products and services to meet clients' financial goals.
• Learn new systems, stay current with regulations, and participate in ongoing training.
• Lead by example as UB III: mentor teammates and keep operations running smoothly.

What You Bring to the Table:

Universal Banker I 6+ months in cash-handling, retail, or hospitality

Universal Banker II 1+ year in banking or 2+ years in customer service/cash-handling

Degree in a related field can replace experience

Universal Banker III 3+ years of banking experience

Leadership and mentoring experience preferred

Able to run the branch in a pinch!
