Job Description

Float Universal Bankers will be required to travel to multiple branches as assigned by the Area Leader and/or Branch Leader. They will provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies. The role involves delivering superior quality service, understanding client’s financial needs, and supporting sales and service activities as needed.

  1. Client Experience: Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, conducting transactions, and uncovering needs. Support complex transactions with assistance as necessary.
  2. Digital Education: Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking.
  3. Support Team: Make client servicing calls, present client offers, identify needs or opportunities, and refer clients to appropriate team members or specialists.
  4. Leadership Routines: Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  5. Knowledge Advancement: Complete training classes and web-based learning to better serve clients.
  6. Compliance: Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies. Stay informed of policy changes.
  7. Account Maintenance: Serve as point of contact for account maintenance, problem resolution, and client referrals.
  8. Scheduling: Support multiple branches within designated coverage area as scheduled, with directions from branch leaders.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven proficiency in teller or cash handling and client service skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to use office equipment and perform basic math
  • Willingness to follow instructions and work under guidelines
  • Ability to deliver excellent client service and support team
  • Availability to work Saturdays and/or extended hours
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to uncover referral opportunities
  • Knowledge of complex branch transactions
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints
  • Understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
