Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Cash handling, sales, customer service. Previous banking experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Interpersonal skills, computer skills, ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers quickly, accurately, efficiently, and confidentially per service standards.
• Identify customer needs and expand relationships by making referrals.
• Maintain neat, professional appearance per bank policy.
• Follow banking regulations, including Regulation CC and Bank Secrecy Act.
• Discuss self-service options with customers and enroll them when appropriate.
• Process teller transactions for savings, checking, and loan accounts.
• Balance transactions daily and assist in training new tellers.
• Open deposit accounts and handle stop payments, wires, and maintenance within limits.
• Explain policies clearly and resolve problems with courtesy and discretion.
• Ensure branch records and reports are accurate and properly distributed.
