Please review the following job description:

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver high-quality service by understanding the client’s financial needs. Cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a focus on outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following are the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change over time.

  1. Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure consistent service by engaging clients with a smile, conducting courteous conversations, and handling transactions while uncovering needs. Perform complex transactions with assistance as needed.
  2. Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions, including ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking, to simplify banking and enhance their experience.
  3. Support the team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities, referring clients to appropriate team members or specialists.
  4. Understand the importance of IRM to seamlessly deliver Truist expertise and solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
  5. Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  6. Advance personal and product knowledge by attending sales, service, and product training sessions and web-based learning.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of policy changes to ensure compliance.
  8. Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering relevant products and services, with workload based on branch demands.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller or cash handling/client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multitask under time constraints
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel as needed for temporary staffing or locale changes
  • Willingness to work weekends and extended hours, with occasional travel and overnights

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Knowledge of complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients
  • General understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
