Job summary

Mid Penn Bank in Connellsville, PA seeks a Financial Sales and Service Specialist to assist customers with banking needs, open accounts, and discuss products. The role includes processing transactions and handling more complex inquiries with a focus on service excellence.

The successful candidate will build relationships, meet compliance standards, and participate in sales activities to grow the customer base while supporting operational needs and loan processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with business emphasis.
• Notary experience preferred or ability to obtain notary.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Mortgage Licensing Registration (NMLS).

Responsibilities

• Opens deposit accounts and takes loan applications.
• Responds to customer questions, quotes rates and payments, recommends services.
• Helps with account maintenance such as address changes.
• Provides accurate information and assistance to customers and colleagues.
• Facilitates the loan process from origination through closing.
• Provides direct service on deposit products and other services as needed.
• Interviews customers to explain Savings/Checking, IRAs, CDs and loans.
• Seeks opportunities to deepen relationships with clients through sales.
• Participates in sales activities for personal and business clients.
• Ensures compliance with policies and regulations; maintains confidentiality.
• Gathers data for monthly and year-to-date performance reports.
