Job Description

Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service by understanding and addressing clients' financial needs. Support sales and service activities, focusing on outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure consistent service by engaging clients with courtesy, conducting transactions, and uncovering needs. Handle complex transactions with assistance as needed.
  2. Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking to enhance their banking experience.
  3. Support team sales by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities, referring clients to appropriate team members.
  4. Understand the importance of IRM to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  5. Participate in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
  6. Enhance individual and product knowledge through training and meetings to better serve clients.
  7. Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, staying informed of policy changes.
  8. Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering appropriate products and services, managing workload based on branch demands.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of teller or cash handling/client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in PC and branch automation software
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs
  • Availability to work weekends and extended hours, including occasional travel and overnights

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Knowledge of complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients
  • Understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures
