Job summary

SouthState Bank seeks a Universal Banker to serve as a full-service, single point of contact in the branch for customers’ financial needs. The role blends teller and FSR duties to drive customer relationships and financial growth.

You will open deposit accounts, process transactions, and help customers understand products and services while complying with banking regulations. Some travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Cash handling, sales, customer service.
• Knowledge: Good interpersonal skills, good computer skills, ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers quickly, accurately, efficiently and confidentially in line with Service Standards.
• Identify customer needs and expand relationships by making referrals.
• Open new deposit accounts and handle stop payments, wires and other maintenance within limits.
• Process transactions for savings, checking, and loan accounts.
• Follow branch security and audit procedures and ensure proper documentation.
