Job summary

Citizens State Bank seeks a Universal Banker to handle deposit operations and a wide range of account services, including initiating transactions, verifying signatures, and promoting banking products. You will build relationships and support customers in choosing accounts.

The role requires at least two years of cash handling or customer service, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and the ability to sit or stand for long periods, with Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of cash handling/customer service experience.
• Financial institution experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Type at least 25 WPM and proficient with PC/software.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or sit for long periods.
• Flexible Monday through Friday schedule with consistent attendance.

• Cash checks with assigned limits


• Accept deposits, withdrawals, and verify signatures


• Assist customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services


• Open, maintain, and close all account types


• Build customer relationships


• Promote the company’s services, answer customer questions, and direct customers to appropriate departments


• Maintain current working knowledge of CSB handbook, policies, and procedures


• Perform branch clerical duties


• Other duties as required
