Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all customers and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Build relationships by understanding customer needs and recommending banking products.
• Promote bank products to meet individual and branch sales goals.
• Educate customers on digital banking options and self-service tools.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, and promotions for accurate information.
• Perform teller transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with account openings, updates, and closings while ensuring policy compliance.
• Identify opportunities to deepen relationships via cross-selling or upselling.
• Monitor cash drawer accuracy and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Adhere to policies and regulatory requirements including security and fraud prevention.
• Participate in ATM balancing, night deposit, and branch supplies management.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and elevate risks to management as needed.
• Maintain organized records to support audits and reviews.
• Collaborate with team to ensure seamless service delivery and branch goals.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.

The Universal Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building relationships, and supporting the branch’s sales and operational goals. This role combines teller and platform responsibilities, including processing transactions, opening accounts, and offering tailored financial solutions. By serving as a trusted resource for customers, the Universal Banker contributes to a positive banking experience and branch success.

Customer Service & Sales

• Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all customers, assisting with inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Build relationships by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate banking products and services.
• Promote bank products and services to achieve individual and branch sales goals, including accounts, loans, and other financial solutions.
• Educate customers on digital banking options and self-service tools to enhance their banking experience.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and promotions to provide accurate and helpful information.

Transaction Processing & Account Support

• Perform teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments, with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist customers with account openings, updates, and closings, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships by cross-selling or upselling additional products and services.
• Monitor and maintain cash drawer accuracy while following established cash-handling procedures.

Operational Support & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including security and fraud prevention protocols.
• Participate in operational tasks such as ATM balancing, night deposit processing, and maintaining branch supplies.
• Monitor and elevate any suspicious account activity or potential risks to management as needed.
• Maintain organized and accurate records to support branch audits and operational reviews.

Team Collaboration & Development

• Collaborate with branch team members to ensure seamless service delivery and achievement of branch goals.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members as directed by management.
• Participate in branch meetings and training sessions to stay informed of updates and best practices.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

Education/Credentials

• Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma

• English: Written: Advanced Verbal: Fluent
• Cantonese or Mandarin bilingual ability preferred

The salary range for this full-time position is $19.24 Hourly - $24.52 Hourly + bonus + benefits
