A leading company is seeking a Field Marketing and Regional Recruitment Manager responsible for overseeing recruitment initiatives for online and advanced degree programs. This strategic role involves partnership development, campaign management, and driving enrollment growth in a remote capacity with extensive travel throughout South Carolina.
The Field Marketing and Regional Recruitment Manager is a strategic and results-driven professional responsible for leading and executing comprehensive recruitment and outreach initiatives for the MUSC College of Health Professions (CHP). As a member of the Department of Healthcare Leadership & Management and the CHP Marketing & Student Recruitment team, this role involves developing and managing recruitment territories, cultivating partnerships, overseeing outreach campaigns, and driving enrollment growth for online and advanced degree programs. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader in student recruitment or business development, with strong strategic planning abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage high-impact initiatives independently.
Strategic Recruitment & Outreach (30%)
• Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan to increase enrollment in online and advanced degree programs.
• Set annual lead generation targets and measure progress quarterly.
• Identify and engage with 20+ strategic partners annually, including health systems, professional associations, government agencies, and continuing education providers.
• Track and analyze prospective student engagement, adjusting recruitment strategies accordingly.
• Implement at least two new outreach initiatives per year to reach underrepresented or targeted student populations.
Conduct in-person and virtual presentations tailored to adult learners, highlighting flexible academic pathways, career advancement, and employer-aligned outcomes
Territory & Relationship Management (25%)
• Manage an extensive geographic territory, ensuring recruitment efforts are efficiently allocated to maximize impact.
• Conduct monthly territory performance reviews to assess engagement and effectiveness.
Establish ongoing relationships with HR leaders, workforce development coordinators, and continuing education professionals to drive referrals.
• Develop a travel schedule that maximizes touchpoints while maintaining cost-efficiency.
Achieve a quarterly lead generation goal as defined by program enrollment needs.
Ensure that 80% of prospective student inquiries receive responses within 48 hours.
• Organize at least four faculty-alumni recruitment collaborations per year.
Marketing Support & Recruitment Events (20%)
• Plan, execute, and oversee 12-15 high-impact recruitment activities, such as lunch-and-learns, community workshops, or partner events, per month.
• Aim for an attendance rate of 75% at scheduled recruitment events.
• Track lead-to-application conversion rates, aiming for at least 25% conversion per event.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement targeted outreach campaigns.
• Attend major local, regional, and/or national conferences annually (e.g., ACHE, etc.).
Digital Engagement & Data Analytics (15%)
• Use social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and Facebook, for personal outreach and engagement with prospective students and partner organizations . Post at least three targeted recruitment messages per week across relevant platforms.
• Support the Department of Healthcare Leadership & Management LinkedIn page in content development and recruitment messaging.
• Engage with at least 10 student inquiries via social media monthly.
• Track and analyze recruitment KPIs, using data insights to refine strategies.
• Ensure 95% of inquiries are logged within 48 hours.
Leadership & Collaboration (10%)
• Collaborate with the inbound recruitment team to ensure a seamless recruitment-to-enrollment process.
• Present recruitment performance data and strategy adjustments in at least two executive meetings per year.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, education, healthcare, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment, sales, business development, or related fields.
• Strong experience with CRM systems (e.g., Anthology, Microsoft Dynamics), data analysis, and lead generation strategies.
• Proven ability to develop and execute marketing initiatives that drive engagement and enrollment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within South Carolina (up to 75%).
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience in higher education, healthcare, or corporate outreach.
• Experience in B2B or B2C relationship management, with a strong network in healthcare industries.
• Knowledge of healthcare workforce trends and their impact on academic enrollment strategies.
