Mantis Robotics in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to contribute to Unity-based development for industrial robotics. You will work with C# scripts and Unity components, collaborating with hardware and software teams in a hybrid, on-site plus remote setup.

Candidates pursuing an engineering degree, who have Unity experience and familiarity with REST API, WebSocket, and basic CAD concepts, will fit well.

• Have extensiveUnityexperience, includingUnityComponent scripting experience (C#)
• Are familiar withUnity’s WebGL build platforms
• Are familiar with Client-Server communication
• Know basic concepts of CAD as well as 3D Boolean operations
• Have strong analysis and troubleshooting skills and experience
• Are a self starter, able to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Just graduated, or you are in your senior year pursuing a degree in a related engineering discipline, for example Electrical/Mechanical/Systems Engineering.

Preferred qualifications:

• Have experience on runtime 3D mesh manipulation withUnity
• Familiar withUnityBlender model import and creating 3D Gizmos
• Familiar with REST API, WebSocket
Experience with AWS
• Prior experience working on a system product, including both hardware and software
