ICON Consultants seeks an Assistant Litigation Paralegal to join our fast-paced legal team. This remote 3-month W2 contract role supports attorneys, manages a high-volume docket, and ensures efficient day-to-day operations.
You will handle matter lifecycle tasks, intake, discovery support, and document finalization while adhering to confidentiality and strict submission deadlines.

Pay Rate: $35 - $41 / Hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday (9am to 5pm)
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated Assistant Litigation Paralegal to join our fast-paced legal team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing a high-volume docket, supporting our attorneys, and ensuring that our day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Our litigation group handles heavy case numbers—covering hundreds of small claims monthly, alongside mass arbitrations and high-volume user demand letters. Matter Lifecycle Management: Open, update, and close matters while maintaining meticulous case calendars, tracking deadlines, and keeping case information organized.
Triage & Intake: Help triage a steady flow of new matters from various sources and support incoming case workflows.
Discovery & Subpoena Support: Assist with responses to subpoenas, prepare exhibit packages, and organize document productions for small claims and arbitration matters.
Document Finalization: Proofread and finalize briefs, discovery requests, and discovery responses for accurate filing and service under tight deadlines.
Legal Foundations: A fundamental understanding of the attorney-client privilege, the work-product doctrine, and the professional duty of confidentiality.
Procedural Knowledge: Basic knowledge of filing deadlines, service requirements, and discovery timelines for small claims, state/federal courts, or arbitration tribunals.
Tech & Portals: Practical, hands-on understanding of court e-filing portals.
Proofreading Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in proofreading legal documents for proper citation, formatting, and absolute accuracy amidst strict submission timelines.
Highly Organized & Efficient: Exceptional ability to manage high-volume, detailed operational tasks and juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
Self-Starter & Collaborator: A strong team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues while also possessing the independence required to get the job done autonomously.
