Background

Purpose Of Activity/Assignment

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional consultant to support EOF’s communication strategy development and implementation over 12 months.

Scope Of Work

The consultant will assist EOF’s Chief of Operations in developing and executing EOF’s communications strategy, including content creation and website optimization. The consultant reports directly to EOF's Chief of Operations.

Terms of Reference / Deliverables

• Create a communications calendar for EOF in 2025.
• Draft and produce communication content including newsletters, emails, and press releases.
• Optimize EOF’s website with blog posts and updates.
• Identify and support EOF’s participation in strategic events.
• Develop communication plans for new programs.
• Establish content approval processes and guidelines.

Travel

Estimated 3 missions, each of 4 working days.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or above) in relevant fields; Bachelor’s with additional experience considered.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in communications, marketing, or related fields.
• Proven experience in developing and executing complex communication strategies.
• Experience with advocacy campaigns and digital media.
• Excellent writing skills in English.

Desirable

• Experience with innovative finance, education, or early childhood development.
• Experience in Africa or Middle East; fluency in French, Arabic, or Spanish.
