Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Unitry Systems Engineer to advance systems engineering tools, governance, and interface management within the Commercial Unitary portfolio. You will lead requirements management, work with cross-functional teams and Engineering SMEs, and contribute to architecture governance.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering with 7+ years in HVAC product development; Master’s in Engineering or Systems Engineering certifications are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering with 7+ years in HVAC product development.
• Master's degree in Engineering is a plus.
• INCOSE ASEP, CSEP or ESEP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the product development life cycle.
• Own the Requirements Management process with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Own Systems Interface Management and critical interface documentation.
• Establish and expand definitions of Systems Engineering tools.
• Lead RTCM workstream within the Global Systems Engineering Council.
• Mentor Systems Architects and Engineering Leads; travel up to 10%.
