Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure proper supply and equipment for missions. You will oversee shipping, storage, and supply of Army National Guard equipment, including receiving, inspecting, invoicing, storing, and delivering supplies, with documentation and automated systems management.

You will secure weapons, schedule maintenance, and operate unit-level computers, while training and earning tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; a junior in high school is acceptable.
• Interest in math, bookkeeping or typing and the ability to keep clear records.
• Comfort with physical work and operating warehouse equipment including forklifts.
• Ability to use unit-level computers for inventory and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure and control weapons and ammunition.
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
