The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure your unit is well supplied and equipped for missions. You will manage warehouse functions, oversee shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, and keep documents organized.

Training includes 10 weeks Basic Training and eight weeks Advanced Individual Training. You will learn procedures for handling medical and food supplies, operate unit computers, and gain skills in inventory, record-keeping, and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic math, bookkeeping and accounting concepts.
• Ability to keep accurate records and data entry.
• Interest in physical work and warehouse tasks.
• Interest in operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms. Secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas
• Schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons
• Operate unit level computers
