The role requires greeting visitors, routing calls, maintaining records, scheduling procedures, and coordinating with physicians and nurses. Proficiency with EPIC and OnBase is used to scan and file documents in patient records.

The Unit Secretary provides reception and clerical assistance to a Shepherd Program, taking on special projects as needed. This role allows for interaction and engagement with staff and patients across the continuum to help ensure exceptional patient care, safety, and unit and other services.
The Unit Secretary assists patients and staff as necessary in the applicable program of role assignment.
