Corewell Health is seeking a part-time receptionist/secretarial professional for the 5W Obsv Unit at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. You will greet guests, schedule tests, process orders, and maintain confidential records per unit standards.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience. The role offers daytime shifts (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.), with 20 weekly hours, and a supportive team environment.

About this unit

5 West is a smaller unit comprised of 25 beds at Butterworth Hospital supporting our Emergency Department. 5W is a fast-paced unit caring for a wide range of patient population. This brings a lot of variety to the patients you will care for and provides the ability to strengthen your critical thinking skills and be part of a dynamic team providing excellent patient care to those needing further testing and observation of symptoms. Types of patients with: Chest Pain, Heart Failure, Kidney Stones, Psychiatric Diagnosis, GI, Orthopedic, and Neuro for both Acute and Chronic Illness Patients. Telemetry, IVs, NG/G-tubes, Chest Tubes, Dressing/Wound Care, CT & MRI Patients. 5W Physicians and Advance Practice Providers remain on the unit so there is 24-hour accessibility which improves relationships, care team collaboration, and efficiency of patient care.
