Job Summary

Acts as a unit receptionist and provides clerical services to maximize the functioning of the unit. Maintains responsibility for telemetry emergency phone. Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant experience preferred. Medical terminology preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Works at a computer/monitor for long periods. Remains calm under emergency situations. Sits for prolonged periods; must be able to communicate verbally. Must possess auditory and visual acuity to perform job functions accurately. Position may involve contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials.
