The position offers full-time hours, three 12-hour shifts per week, and an hourly compensation range based on experience. Responsibilities include telephone messaging, coordination with the Charge Nurse, timely paperwork, and arranging patient transport for tests not offered on-site.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with medical files and terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clerical support to patient care units with independent judgment.
• Transcribe orders accurately and file reports; arrange transportation and follow-up tests.
• Answer phones and deliver messages, verbally or by phone.
• Maintain communication with the Charge Nurse/House Supervisor.
• Handle paperwork in a timely manner; order supplies as needed.
• Verify physician privileges prior to transcribing orders.
• Transcribe and flag orders from charts.
• Arrange transport for tests not offered in the hospital.
