Work Hours: 24 hours/week, 2:45-11:15 pm
The Unit Secretary is directly accountable to the Director of Emergency Room, and indirectly to the Charge Nurse and/or House Supervisor. The role involves performing indirect care activities, facilitating communication within the department, transcribing physician orders, preparing and maintaining patient records, ordering supplies, and assisting nursing staff with duties involving indirect patient care.
