Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center in Clinton, IA is hiring a Unit Secretary/Nurse Assistant for full-time, 36 hours per week on the Day Shift. Under RN supervision, you will support daily patient care, transcribe orders, coordinate tests and maintain medical records, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered service.

Qualifications include Iowa Certified Nurse Aide, BLS within 3 months, and at least three years in a related field; strong prioritization, teamwork and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Transcribe physician orders and enter orders in the computer.
• Schedule diagnostic tests and therapies for patients.
• Assemble admission and discharge charts and maintain records.
• Support billing documentation and answer calls and messages.
