Job summary

Iredell Health System in Statesville, NC is seeking a Nursing Unit Clerk to support the nursing team by performing essential clerical duties and handling patient information in a hospital environment. The role requires attention to detail, basic medical terminology, computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods; schedule is 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Terminology preferred.
• Computer skills including knowledge of business software.
• Clerical experience preferred.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
