An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Unit Secretary for their Adult Behavioral Health unit. This full-time position involves performing essential clerical duties and providing indirect patient care under the guidance of healthcare professionals. What We Offer:
Supports assigned unit by performing clerical duties such as secretarial, receptionist, and other designated activities. Provides indirect care following physician and nursing orders to achieve the highest standards of age/developmentally specific care.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of a unit secretary course or equivalent experience preferred. Clerical experience preferred.

Basic computer skills, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to adapt to workload changes, and develop transcription skills.
Interaction with staff and departments, contact with patients under various circumstances, possible exposure to infections and chemicals, subject to interruptions and irregular hours.
Activities include standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, dexterity, talking, hearing, seeing, and lifting up to 100 lbs., with varying time percentages.
