Minimum Education

• High School or equivalent

Minimum Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service behavior.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word as well as Internet access and utilization.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Appropriate Telephone Skills.

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• AB508 (Management of Assaultive Behavior) Only for ED/Geropsych - if no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire

Preferred Experience

• 1 year Experience as a Unit Secretary in acute care

The hourly rate range for this position is $23.06 - $29.84.
