Job summary

BD in Nebraska is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to implement and sustain BDPS processes within the manufacturing unit. The role focuses on safeguarding process control and engineering standards in a fast-paced medical manufacturing environment.

The position emphasizes equipment setting optimization, knowledge transfer to operators, and coaching teams in continuous improvement to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Two years Medical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Three years manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements and sustains BDPS work process for the manufacturing unit.
• Identifies critical equipment setting and creation of standards.
• Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.
• Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
• Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
• Responsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
