Teknor Apex is seeking a full-time production operator to safely run and monitor manufacturing lines on-site. You will ensure quality, maintain production records, and support lean manufacturing practices in a team setting.

The role requires the ability to work in shifts, including overtime as needed, and to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift. Strong reliability and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to operate in a self-directed environment and complete tasks on time and thoroughly as assigned.
• Ability to demonstrate operational decision as required, maintaining production levels.
• Ability to read and write.
• Must be able to safely operate a forklift.

• Understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform related responsibilities as required or directed.
• This role is a full time position on-site and timely and regular attendance is crucial to the success of the role.
• There is mandatory overtime associated with the role depending upon the needs of the business.

• Must be able to safely operate a forklift.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. multiple times throughout shift.
• Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties.
• Remove tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools. Basic motor skills are required to perform the necessary mechanical aspects of this job in an efficient manner.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job.
• Must be able to climb stairs multiple times throughout shift.Must be able to wear required safety equipment.

Typical Shift Schedules:

2nd Shift – 2:45 pm – 11:00 pm. Must be able to train on 1st shift 6:45 am - 3:00 pm

• This role is a full-time position and on-site and, because this is a team approach to batch manufacturing, timely and regular attendance is crucial to the success of the role and the safety of the team
• The regular hours of the role are different for each shift but will always be 15 mins before production phase of the shift start
• There is mandatory overtime associated with the role depending upon the needs of the business because, with team-based batch manufacturing, batches must be manned for worker safety and may continue beyond the end of a scheduled shift or may require evening, night, or weekend rotations from each and every operator.
