The Minneapolis 6th floor is a 33-bed pediatric medical/surgical unit caring for children with various acute and chronic conditions, including cystic fibrosis, respiratory, neurological, trauma, and urological issues. The team emphasizes teamwork, respectful communication, and professional growth, providing comprehensive care through interdisciplinary collaboration.
The Unit Operations Coordinator provides exemplary customer service to families, staff, providers, and visitors, both in person and via phone. Responsibilities include answering questions, coordinating deliveries, directing visitors, and maintaining a safe environment. The role acts as a liaison to other departments, supports patient care, and manages unit technology. Flexibility to float to other departments may be required.
