Department Overview
This department cares for children from newborns to young adults with acute medical or surgical issues, including neurological concerns. The average length of stay varies from 24 hours to several weeks.

Position Summary
The Unit Operations Coordinator provides excellent customer service to families, staff, providers, and visitors, both in person and by phone. Responsibilities include answering questions, problem-solving, arranging deliveries, directing visitors, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting patient care and administrative functions on the unit. The role may require floating to other departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred
  • 1-year experience in a patient care setting preferred
