We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Unit Manager and Staff Development Nurse to join our team. The Unit Manager and Staff Development Nurse will be responsible for the nursing care of all residents on an assigned unit, developing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting professional development.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff
  2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  3. Promote professional development
  4. Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs
  5. Provide ongoing support and guidance to nursing staff
  6. Assist with orientation of new nursing staff
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  8. Maintain accurate records of educational programs and staff participation
Requirements
  1. Current RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
  2. Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  3. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
  4. Experience in staff development and education
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Strong organizational and time management skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
