Chateau Rehab and Nursing Center in Rochelle Park, NJ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead the daily clinical operations of a nursing unit and support the nursing staff.

The ideal candidate holds an active NJ RN license, has 2+ years of nursing experience, long-term care expertise, and PCC proficiency, with strong leadership and communication skills. This full-time role offers a collaborative, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience required.
• Previous Unit Manager or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote quality care and professional growth
• Ensure residents receive care in accordance with individualized care plans
• Perform resident rounds, assessments, and monitor changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care
• Lead and participate in care plan meetings
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
• Support quality assurance initiatives and survey preparedness
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and resident-focused culture
