Avalon Health Care Group is seeking a dependable RN to join our Federal Way facility as a Unit Manager. This role offers a chance to teach and lead a team in a post-acute care environment.

The Unit Manager will oversee nursing unit operations, ensuring high-quality resident care, staff supervision, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Weekend rotation included.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Previous experience in hospital, long term care facility, or other health care facility is required.
• Placement within wage range is determined by experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day functions of the Nursing Unit in accordance with laws and regulations to ensure quality care for residents.
• Collaborate with Director/Assistant Director of Nursing to maintain standards and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

The Unit Manager will direct the day to day functions of the Nursing Unit in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing long term care facilities, and as may be directed by the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State;
• Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care;
• Previous experience in a hospital, long term care facility, or other health care related facility is required.
