Avalon Care Center Northpointe in Spokane is seeking a dependable, organized and dedicated nurse to join our outstanding team as a Unit Manager. The Unit Manager will direct the day to day functions of the Nursing Unit to ensure the highest quality of care for residents.

Requirements include a valid RN license and experience in long term care or related healthcare settings. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and competitive wages.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
• Knowledge of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices and guidelines for long term care.
• Previous experience in a hospital or long term care facility is required.

Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities

The Unit Manager will direct the day to day functions of the Nursing Unit in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing long term care facilities, and as may be directed by the Director or Assistant Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State;
• Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long term care;
• Previous experience in a hospital, long term care facility, or other health care related facility is required.
