Job summary

Talentify seeks a Unit Manager to oversee all aspects of operating a unit within the facility, supervising the nursing staff and monitoring patient care. The role requires 24‑hour responsibility and strict adherence to policy, procedure, and state/federal regulations.

You will report to the Director of Nursing, participate in Quality Assurance activities, ensure accurate incident reporting, and collaborate on staff orientation and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license (RN) in good standing with the State.
• Must have a valid CPR certification.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversees unit operations in accordance with policy and procedure and regulatory requirements.
• Assumes 24-hour responsibility and accountability for resident care on assigned unit.
• Monitors incidents and follows up with Administrator and Director of Nursing.
• Promotes resident care to achieve highest functioning and participates in QA processes.
• Communicates significant changes in resident condition to physicians, families, or DPOA and conducts daily rounds.
