Far Rockaway Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager in Far Rockaway, NY.

We are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for new Unit Managers!

Duties

1. Handle all supervisory duties for the assigned unit
2. Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures
3. Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career advice
4. Maintain the standards of care for the unit
5. Review resident records & quality of care
6. Monitor overall care & review individual residents' cases
7. Address questions or complaints brought forward by residents or their families
8. Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management

Requirements

1. Must hold a valid State RN License
2. 3 years of long-term care experience preferred
3. 2 years of charge nurse experience preferred
4. Strong computer skills
5. Excellent communication skills
