Job Summary

This position is responsible for supervising clinical staff involved in various clinical operations such as Utilization Management, Case Management, and Disease Management. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance reviews, pay administration, change management, and ensuring staff meet or exceed goals and initiatives. The role involves implementing processes, procedures, and initiatives, monitoring results, ensuring effective customer service, meeting account contracts, and collaborating across the organization to deliver services to customers.

Job Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current, unrestricted license to practice in TX, OK, NM, IL, or MT.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience providing direct care to consumers.
• At least 2 years of utilization review or managed care experience.
• Leadership skills.
• Knowledge of managed care program policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of the managed care and insurance industry.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Analytical skills and sound clinical judgment.
• Case Management Certification (URAC accredited) or the ability to obtain it within three years if overseeing case management operations.
• For positions/departments requiring multi-state licenses, incumbents must obtain and maintain additional licenses as determined by management. Multi-state license fees will be covered by HCSC. Other clinical licenses do not require multi-state licensing.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree.

Base Pay Range

$69,200.00 - $146,700.00
