Job summary

Blaire House of Worcester, a 75-bed skilled nursing center, is hiring an Unit Manager. This hourly position starts at $40 per hour, based on experience, with responsibilities across nursing supervision and care coordination on an assigned unit.

You will oversee nursing care per physician orders, mentor staff, and ensure care plans are implemented and evaluated. Current RN license and IV certification are required; strong English communication is essential.

Hourly Pay Range: Starting at $40 per hour, based on experience.

Assumes responsibility for all nursing care provided to residents within an assigned unit; knows the residents’ conditions at all times ; observes and supervises nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

Investigates and studies trends and developments in nursing practices and techniques and evaluates their adaptability to the needs of specific nursing programs.

Assists in teaching ancillary nursing personnel; orients and trains new employees as directed by the Director of Nursing. Assists with evaluation of designated personnel.

Coordinates the nursing process by assessing all new residents and all residents routinely, completing MDS and resident care plan, implementing and evaluating the resident care plan and daily re-evaluating of the resident care plan .

Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Licensed Nurse who has graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners. Ability to speak, read and write English.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Will receive in-service training in special areas . IV certification will be required .
