Our Lady of the Valley in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and involves coordinating physician visits, managing rounds, documentation, infection control, and QA activities.

Key duties include supervising LPNs and CNAs, admitting residents, on-call coverage, enforcing policies, and participating in staff training.

Competenze

• CPR certification or ability to acquire within 60 days.
• Experience in management and senior care is preferred.

Pay range (based on experience): $30.00-$39.00 per hour

The Unit Manager is important to providing resident care and appropriate communications within the department. This role will receive general supervision from the Director of Nursing to coordinate physicians’ visits, monitor infection control, participate in interdisciplinary conferences on resident care, participate in quality assurance activities, and monitor the care provided on the unit. The right individual for this position will be organized, diligent, responsible, and caring.
